Unit IV: Building on the Project Plan Rebecca Parks Unit IV: Building on the Project Plan Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) RAM is also known as the RACI matrix, i.e., responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed. It defines and clarifies the roles and responsibilities of the various departments in the organization. In this category, we are going to do a chart for the RAM. Name Management HR Department Finance Department IT Department Procurement Department Research Department Logistics Department Build team management Database architecture Training material development Debug software release for the project Approve drawings Implementing new strategies Project Characteristics Our project has characteristics that make it stand out in the philanthropic field. They include: Temporary: Our project does not last forever. It has a timeline within which it operates, and once the deliverables are exhausted, it ends. Unique deliverables: As an outstanding philanthropic project that is invested in fulfilling achievable objectives, our project involves unique deliverables to satisfy the society for long-term gains. Progressive elaboration: As our project goes on, we continually assess our strategic plans of implementation to avoid any mistakes that may happen along the way. Our project is logical and is structurally interdependent on all the variables put forth. It is also conflict associated since, in its totality, we are trying to solve conflicting issues in society. Quality Plan Our strategic plan is a quality plan based on impactful deliverables and objectives that penultimately will change the face of society. They include: The objectives; supporting medical students and doctors educationally, raising talent, and promoting social entrepreneurship. We have sound architecture plans to follow through implementation to the completion of the project. Our team is well organized, and every department has been allocated its responsibilities to ensure efficiency in the implementation. We have well-documented procedures to act as guidelines to follow through during the entire process of the project. We are very concerned that our project pulls through. As a result, we test our hypotheses first, inspect each step of the implementation, and audit every stage of each program to ensure we are on the right track and avoid wastages. In the cases where changes are imminent, we document the reasons that led to the decision and the quality modifications that have been put in place to rectify the faults. We are very particular about every minor achievement and progress we make. Thus, we have specific methods devised explicitly for measuring the achievements we have made in our progress. We are also innovative and flexible in our operations. Therefore, we have various courses of action to help meet the objectives just in case the initial plans fail to meet the expected results.
